2024 GMC Yukon XL Denali Ultimate

The 2024 Yukon XL is GMC’s stretched full-size SUV, adding cargo space behind the third row for families who need to carry people and gear. Its main rivals are the Chevrolet Suburban, Ford Expedition Max, and Jeep Wagoneer L, all vying for the same three-row, long-wheelbase buyers. The Yukon XL drives with the confident, planted feel of a big SUV, and the independent rear suspension smooths out most road imperfections. Inside, the cabin offers generous space for up to eight, with a massive cargo area behind the third row that swallows luggage with ease. Standard tech includes a large touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a full suite of driver-assistance features. The Denali Ultimate sits at the top of the Yukon XL range, above the SLT and AT4, with the most luxury and standard equipment. Its 6.2L V8 makes 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, paired with a ten-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, and returns 16 mpg combined. The Denali Ultimate comes with a unique interior trim, a power-sliding center console, and standard Magnetic Ride Control for a smoother ride.
