Miles Overview
The 2016 Yukon is GMC's full-size SUV, the upscale sibling to the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban. It drives with a commanding view of the road and a smooth, steady ride that makes long trips feel effortless. The cabin is roomy and upscale, with comfortable leather seats and plenty of cubbies for drinks and devices. Some owners mention minor annoyances like a rear A/C that stopped working or a slight engine click that turned out to be nothing. Cloth seats and a simpler infotainment screen distinguish the SLE from the leather-lined SLT above it. Its 5.3L V8 makes 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and four-wheel drive that returns 18 mpg combined. The SLE is the only Yukon trim that skips the standard running boards, so you climb in without a step.
