Miles Overview
The Yukon XL is GMC's biggest SUV, the long-wheelbase version of the Yukon with room for up to nine people. If you're also looking at a Ford Expedition EL or a Chevrolet Suburban, you're in the same territory. It drives like a big truck, with a heavy feel and a commanding view of the road. The ride is on the firm side, which is the trade for how stable it feels towing or hauling a full load. The SLT is where you get convenience features like power windows and locks over the base SLE, without the Denali’s premium price tag. Its 5.3L V8 makes 320 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, which moves this big SUV with enough authority for daily driving or highway merging.
