Miles Overview
The 2016 Acadia is GMC's three-row family SUV, sized between the smaller Terrain and the Yukon, and it seats up to seven. It drives smoothly and quietly, with a comfortable ride that makes long trips easy, though the steering feels a bit numb. Inside, the cabin is roomy and flexible, with a walk-through to the third row and folding seats, but cargo space behind the third row is tight. Reliability is generally good, though some owners have had electrical gremlins like radio glitches or blind-spot sensor issues, usually fixed under recall. The SLE-2 adds leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a power liftgate over the SLE-1, giving it a noticeably more upscale feel. Its 3.6L V6 makes 281 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, and in this all-wheel-drive form it gets 17 mpg combined. A rear-seat entertainment system was available on the SLE-2, a nice addition for keeping kids occupied on longer drives.
