Miles Overview
The 2016 Acadia is GMC's three-row family SUV, sized between the smaller Terrain and the Yukon, and it seats up to seven. It drives smoothly and quietly, with a comfortable ride that makes long trips easy, though the steering feels a bit numb. Inside, the cabin is roomy and flexible, with a walk-through to the third row and folding seats, but cargo space behind the third row is tight. Reliability is generally good, though some owners have had electrical gremlins like radio glitches or blind-spot sensor issues, usually fixed under recall. The SLE-1 adds cruise control, a power driver seat, and remote start over the base SL, making it the real starting point for families. Its 3.6L V6 makes 281 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, and with all-wheel drive you get sure-footed traction in rain or snow at the cost of 17 mpg combined.
