Miles Overview
The Savana is GMC's full-size van, the workhorse choice for hauling cargo or people, offered in both regular and extended lengths. It drives like the big van it is, with a tall seating position and a firm ride that's more about hauling than comfort. Inside, the cabin is basic and functional, with hard plastics and simple controls, but there's plenty of room up front. Cargo space is the Savana's reason to exist, with a huge, boxy rear area that swallows gear or can be fitted for passengers. The LT is the passenger-focused Savana, with more interior trim and available rear HVAC than the bare-bones Work Van. It uses a 6.0L I8 paired with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, so it pulls strongly when loaded but fuel economy is not its strength.
