Miles Overview
The Savana is GMC's full-size van, the workhorse choice for hauling cargo or people, offered in both regular and extended lengths. It drives like the big van it is, with a tall seating position and a firm ride that's more about hauling than comfort. Inside, the cabin is basic and functional, with hard plastics and simple controls, but there's plenty of room up front. Cargo space is the Savana's reason to exist, with a huge, boxy rear area that swallows gear or can be fitted for passengers. The 2500 is the work-ready Savana, with a simpler setup than the 3500 and a lower starting price for those who don't need the extra payload. You can order the 2500 as a cargo or passenger van, and the extended wheelbase adds significant length for bulky items.
