The 2012 Express is Chevrolet's full-size van, the workhorse choice for hauling people or cargo across the country. It's a big van, but it handles surprisingly well for its size, and it has plenty of power for merging and towing. With seating for up to 15 or a vast cargo area, the Express swallows whatever you throw at it. Some owners have dealt with electrical gremlins and a noisy cabin, so expect a few quirks with this one. The Work Van is the bare-bones version of the Express, skipping the LS trim's carpet and extra sound deadening to keep the price down. It uses a 4.8L I8 making 280 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and two-wheel drive, which gives it enough grunt for hauling but returns 13 mpg combined. This trim comes with just two seats up front, so you'll need the optional rear bench if you plan to carry more than a passenger.
