Miles Overview
The 2012 Express is Chevrolet's full-size van, the workhorse choice for hauling people or cargo across the country. It's a big van, but it handles surprisingly well for its size, and it has plenty of power for merging and towing. With seating for up to 15 or a vast cargo area, the Express swallows whatever you throw at it. Some owners have dealt with electrical gremlins and a noisy cabin, so expect a few quirks with this one. The 1500 is the light-duty Express, giving you a smoother ride and better fuel economy than the heavier 2500 and 3500 models. Its 5.3L V8 pairs with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive for sure-footed traction in rain or snow, though expect 14 mpg combined. All-wheel drive is rare in a full-size van, making this 1500 a smart pick if you need to haul gear through winter weather.
