Miles Overview
The 2018 Colorado is Chevrolet's mid-size pickup, slotting between the Silverado and the now-discontinued S-10. It competes with the Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier, and Honda Ridgeline in the mid-size truck segment. The Colorado drives more like a car than a truck, with a smooth ride and responsive steering. The cabin is quiet and well-built, with available MyLink infotainment and a user-friendly touchscreen. Crew cab models offer generous interior space but a shorter bed, a trade-off buyers should weigh. The LT adds comfort and tech over the Work Truck, but skips the Z71's off-road hardware and its higher price tag. Its 2.8L I4 makes 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and four-wheel drive for a capable mix of power and traction. The LT can be had with an available diesel engine for better fuel economy, a choice the ZR2 does not offer.
