Miles Overview
The 2018 Colorado is Chevrolet's mid-size pickup, slotting between the Silverado and the now-discontinued S-10. It competes with the Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier, and Honda Ridgeline in the mid-size truck segment. The Colorado drives more like a car than a truck, with a smooth ride and responsive steering. The cabin is quiet and well-built, with available MyLink infotainment and a user-friendly touchscreen. Crew cab models offer generous interior space but a shorter bed, a trade-off buyers should weigh. The LT sits above the Work Truck and below the Z71, adding convenience features like cruise control and a leather-wrapped wheel without the off-road gear. This LT pairs the 3.6L V6 with an 8-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, giving it confident passing power and sure-footed traction on slippery roads. The LT's 17-inch cast-aluminum wheels and body-color mirrors give it a cleaner look than the Z71's blacked-out trim, but you give up the Z71's off-road suspension.
