Miles Overview
The 2022 Colorado is Chevrolet's mid-size pickup, offered in LT, Work Truck, Z71, and ZR2 trims. It competes with the Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, and Jeep Gladiator in the mid-size truck segment. The Colorado drives smoothly and handles well for a truck, with the V6 feeling quick in everyday driving. Cabin space is typical for the class, with available crew cab and bed configurations to suit different needs. Owners report few issues, though a battery failure and a door latch problem appeared in some early examples. Four-wheel drive sets the Work Truck apart from the base LT, making it a real off-road-capable pickup from the start. The 2.5L I4 makes 200 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, which gives the Work Truck decent around-town response while returning 21 mpg combined.
