Miles Overview
The Silverado 2500HD is Chevy's heavy-duty pickup, built for towing and hauling rather than daily commuting. It drives with the solid, planted feel you want in a heavy-duty truck, though the steering is a bit vague on center. The cabin is plain and functional, with durable materials that hold up to worksite use. Owners find parts easy to get and repairs straightforward, so running costs stay manageable for a heavy-duty truck. The LT sits above the Work Truck trim, adding convenience features like power windows and locks while keeping the same 6.6L V8 and four-wheel drive. Its 6.6L V8 makes 300 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic that gives you confident pulling power from a stop.
