Miles Overview
The Silverado 2500HD is Chevrolet's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling rather than daily commuting. It rides like a proper work truck, with a firm, trucky feel that's expected in this class. Inside, the cabin is straightforward and functional, with durable materials that hold up to job-site use. This generation of Silverado has a reputation for being tough and long-lasting, though rust can be a concern in salt-belt states. The LT is the mid-level trim, offering more comfort than the base Work Truck without the full luxury of the LTZ. Its 6.6L V8 makes 300 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic and four-wheel drive for confident pulling. The LT adds carpeting and cloth seats, a step up from the vinyl floor and bench of the base model.
