Miles Overview
The 2003 SSR is Chevrolet's retro-styled pickup, a two-seat roadster-truck that turns heads wherever it goes. It drives like a big cruiser, with a smooth ride and a relaxed feel that suits its laid-back personality. The ride is comfortable for a truck, soaking up bumps well, though the tall stance means some body roll in corners. Inside, the cabin is snug but well-finished, with a power-retractable hardtop that opens up the experience. Under the hood is a 5.3L V8 making 300 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque, paired with the four-speed automatic spinning the rear wheels, and it’ll get you 15 mpg combined.
