Miles Overview
The 2008 Colorado is Chevrolet's compact pickup, a smaller, more maneuverable alternative to the full-size Silverado. It rides smoothly and is easy to drive, though the base engines feel a bit underpowered for heavy hauling. The cabin is roomy up front, but the rear jump seats in extended cabs are cramped and the plastic interior feels cheap. Reliability is a mixed bag: many owners report trouble-free miles, but electrical issues and brake light shorts do pop up. The Work Truck is the no-frills version, skipping the LT's power windows and nicer upholstery to keep the price down. Its 3.7L I5 makes 185 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, which is enough for daily driving but feels strained with a heavy load.
