Miles Overview
The Astro is Chevrolet's rear-wheel-drive van, the one that seats eight and still feels like a truck underneath. It drives like the truck-based van it is: high seating, a commanding view, and a ride that's firm over bumps. With three rows and a tall roof, there's room for a big family and their gear, and the rear seats come out easily. Owners report these vans running for hundreds of thousands of miles, though the engine bay is tight and the rear differential can be a weak spot. The LT is the base Astro, so you skip the LS trim's power windows and locks, saving a few thousand dollars upfront.
