Miles Overview
The Colorado is Chevrolet's compact pickup for 2006, a smaller, more maneuverable alternative to full-size trucks like the Silverado. It rides smoothly and is easy to drive, with a turning radius that makes it feel at home in tight spots and parking lots. The cab offers decent space for passengers, though the rear seats in extended cab models are tight for adults. Some owners report electrical issues like faulty brake lights and window motors, so it's worth checking those systems before you buy. The Work Truck is the base Colorado, giving you a capable workhorse without the extras of the LT. Its 3.5L I5 makes 175 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive that deliver 21 mpg combined. This trim keeps things simple with a vinyl floor covering and manual windows, so you get a tough, easy-to-clean interior.
