2012 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Work Truck

This is Chevy's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton isn't enough for towing or hauling. It rides like a proper work truck, with a firm, trucky feel that's honest about its job. The cabin is straightforward and built to last, with hard plastics that shrug off work-site wear. You get a real truck bed and serious payload capacity, so it's ready for a loaded trailer or a bed full of gear. The Work Truck is the stripped-down base of the 2500HD line, built to work hard without extra frills you'd pay for on a higher LT or LTZ. Its 6.0L I8 makes 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed automatic, which in this rear-wheel drive layout is all you need for serious towing. Standard rubber floor covering and vinyl seats mean mud and dust wipe clean in seconds, which is exactly what a work truck should do.
