Miles Overview
The Silverado 2500 is Chevrolet's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling work. It drives with the authority you expect from a heavy-duty truck, though the ride can be firm when unloaded. The cabin is functional and roomy, with straightforward controls and plenty of space for crew and gear. With a robust frame and strong payload ratings, it's ready for trailers, campers, and job-site loads. The Custom is the entry-level trim in the Silverado 2500 lineup, sitting below the LT and Work Truck trims, and it gives you the essential heavy-duty capability without the extra comfort features. Its 6.6L I8 makes 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, so it pulls hard and feels unstoppable on the job. Expect a firm ride when the bed is empty, which is the trade-off for the truck's strong payload and towing ratings.
