Miles Overview
The Silverado 2500HD is Chevy's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling rather than daily commuting. It rides like a proper work truck, with a firm, truck-like feel that you notice on rough roads, but it's stable and confident when loaded. Inside, the cabin is straightforward and tough, with available leather and tech in higher trims, but the materials are more about durability than luxury. You get a choice of regular, double, or crew cab, and the bed and cab configurations mean there's a version for most work needs. The LTZ is the luxury-oriented Silverado 2500HD, so you get leather, heated seats, and a nicer infotainment screen than the LT's cloth and basic radio. Under the hood is a 6.6L V8 with an automatic transmission, and in rear-wheel drive it's a strong, torquey hauler that pulls heavy trailers without drama. One thing the LTZ adds is a premium Bose audio system, so your music stays clear over the diesel's clatter.
