2023 Chevrolet Express 3500

This is Chevrolet's full-size work van, the one you see on job sites and delivery routes everywhere. It drives like a proper workhorse, with a firm ride and a steering wheel that tells you exactly what the front tires are doing. Inside, the cabin is basic and hard-wearing, with simple controls that are easy to use while wearing work gloves. The cargo area is vast and boxy, so you can slide in sheets of plywood or stack boxes right up to the roof. The 3500 is the heavy-duty Express, built to haul and tow more than the LS trims, so the ride is stiffer and the payload capacity is higher. Its 4.3L V6 pairs with a automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving you enough grunt for a loaded van without overcomplicating things. Expect a basic, no-frills interior that focuses on durability over comfort, which is exactly what a work van needs.
