The Express is Chevrolet's full-size work van, the one you see as a cargo hauler, shuttle, or cutaway chassis for custom upfits. It's a big, tall van, so you sit up high and see over traffic, and it handles better than you'd expect for something this size. The cabin is basic and utilitarian, with hard plastics and simple controls, but the seats are easy to clean and the A/C blows cold. You can get it as a cargo van with a huge open bay or as a passenger van that seats up to 15, and the rear doors open wide for loading. The LT adds power windows, locks, and cruise control over the Work Van and Cargo trims, plus a nicer cloth interior. Its 6.0L I8 makes 324 horsepower and 373 lb-ft of torque, moved through a six-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it returns 12 mpg combined. This trim can be ordered with rear air conditioning and a heavy-duty trailering package, which are must-haves if you plan to tow or carry a full load of passengers.
