Miles Overview
This is Chevrolet's full-size work van, the one you see hauling cargo for contractors and delivery fleets everywhere. It drives like a truck, with a high seating position and a firm, truck-like ride that you feel over bumps. The cabin is basic and functional, with hard plastics and a straightforward layout, but it's built to be hosed out. The Express has a reputation for being tough and dependable, though it's a dated design with few modern tech features. The LT is the mid-range Express, giving you a bit more standard equipment than the base work truck without the extended length of the EXT. Its 4.3L V6 makes 276 horsepower and 298 lb-ft of torque, paired with a eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, which is enough to move 5,990 pounds of van without feeling strained. With 12 seats and 218.5 cubic feet of cargo space of cargo room behind the front seats, this van can carry a crew or a massive load, but expect the dated cabin to feel sparse.
