Miles Overview
The SKY is Saturn's two-seat roadster, a rear-drive convertible that GM built to take on the Mazda MX-5 and Pontiac Solstice. It's a genuine driver's car, with sharp steering and a taut chassis that makes back roads feel like an event. The ride is firm, which is the trade for how flat it stays through corners, and the cabin is snug but well laid out. Cargo space is minimal, so plan for weekend trips rather than full luggage, but the power top drops quickly when the sun's out. Its 2.4L I4 makes 173 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, sending power to the rear wheels for a lively, tail-happy feel that rewards smooth throttle inputs. A five-speed manual was standard, but this car has the optional automatic, which trades some engagement for easier around-town driving.
