Miles Overview
The DeVille was Cadillac's full-size front-drive sedan, the one buyers chose for a soft, quiet ride and a big back seat. It drives like a proper luxury cruiser, with a smooth, quiet powertrain and steering light enough for one-finger turns. Inside, the cabin is roomy and leather-lined, with wide seats and a trunk that swallows a family's luggage. Owners note that parts and repairs run expensive, and electrical issues and window motors can act up as the car ages. The DeVille was Cadillac's full-size luxury sedan, and the DTS trim added a firmer suspension and more standard equipment than the base model. Its 4.6L V8 makes strong, smooth power, and the automatic transmission shifts imperceptibly, making highway cruising effortless.
