Miles Overview
The 2006 CTS is Cadillac's entry-level luxury sedan, a rear-wheel-drive alternative to the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class. It rides smoothly on the highway and has enough power to feel genuinely sporty, though the rear-wheel-drive setup can be tricky in snow. The cabin features leather seats, a woodgrain steering wheel, and a great stereo system, with excellent trunk space for the class. Owners report few major issues beyond a finicky fuel gauge and the occasional transmission replacement after high mileage. Its 3.6L V6 pairs with a automatic transmission for smooth, responsive power that makes daily driving effortless. The base trim skips the high-performance suspension of the V, so the ride is more compliant and quiet on rough pavement.
