Miles Overview
The CTS is Cadillac's entry-level luxury sedan, the one that put the brand back on the map against the BMW 3 Series and Lexus IS. It drives with a firm, planted feel that makes freeway miles easy, and the steering is direct enough to make back roads fun. Inside, you get supportive leather seats and a cabin that feels more upscale than its price suggests, though rear legroom is a bit tight. Owners report it's generally dependable, but some have dealt with electrical gremlins and a transmission that needed replacing after high mileage. The base CTS is the entry point, trading the V8 and some luxury of the higher trims for a lower price and the same sharp chassis. Its V6 pairs with a automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, making it a balanced daily driver that gets out of its own way without the fuel penalty of the V8.
