The CTS is Cadillac's midsize sport sedan, also offered as a wagon, and it goes up against the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class. It's a sharp handler with a firm, controlled ride, and the steering gives you a clear sense of the road. The cabin is trimmed in quality materials, and the front seats are comfortable for long trips, though the rear seat is a bit snug. Depending on the trim, you get features like a touchscreen navigation system and a premium Bose audio setup. The Luxury trim is the entry-level CTS, giving you the standard features and a smaller engine than the Performance and Premium trims. Its 3.0L V6 makes 270 horsepower and routes through a six-speed automatic to all-wheel drive, which gives you confident traction in rain or snow. The all-wheel drive adds some weight, so the ride is a bit firmer and fuel economy settles at 21 mpg combined.
