Miles Overview
The LaCrosse is Buick's full-size sedan, the one that competes with the Toyota Avalon and Chrysler 300. It's a calm, quiet cruiser that feels right at home on long highway stretches. The cabin is genuinely roomy, with a leather interior that's easy to wipe down after spills. Owners note the door handles can feel weak and sometimes need replacing. The Essence skips the Premium's upgraded audio and blind-spot monitoring, but it still gets you the V6 and all-wheel drive for thousands less. Its 3.6L V6 makes 310 horsepower and pairs with a nine-speed automatic, so merging onto the highway is effortless and the AWD gives you confidence in rain or snow. The Essence is the most affordable way to get the V6 with AWD, but you'll trade the Premium's leather seating surfaces for cloth upholstery.
