Miles Overview
The LaCrosse is Buick's full-size sedan, the one that competes with the Toyota Avalon and Chrysler 300. It's a calm, quiet cruiser that feels right at home on long highway stretches. The cabin is genuinely roomy, with a leather interior that's easy to wipe down after spills. Owners note the door handles can feel weak and sometimes need replacing. The Essence is the mid-range LaCrosse, adding leather upholstery and heated front seats over the Preferred without stepping up to the Premium's extra tech. With the 2.5L I4 making 194 horsepower, this front-wheel-drive Essence is the fuel-sipping choice, earning 29 mpg combined.
