Miles Overview
The LaCrosse is Buick's mid-size sedan, a comfortable cruiser that competes with the likes of the Toyota Avalon and Ford Taurus. It handles surprisingly well for a big sedan, with steering that makes dodging potholes and tight spaces feel easy. Inside, you get a roomy cabin with available leather and wood trim, though the trunk is a bit tight for a car this size. Owners generally report few problems beyond routine maintenance, though some early models had electrical gremlins that were later addressed. Stepping up to the Touring trim adds a firmer suspension tune and unique 18-inch wheels, giving the LaCrosse a sportier feel without losing its quiet ride. The 3.6L I6 makes 182 horsepower, paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, which is enough for relaxed cruising and returns 29 mpg combined.
