Miles Overview
The Solstice is Pontiac's two-seat roadster, a pure weekend toy that trades practicality for style and open-air fun. It's a blast to drive, with sharp steering and wide tires that give it a planted, go-kart feel through corners. Just know the trunk is tiny and the cabin is snug, so this is a second car for most people, not a daily hauler. Owners say the manual top is simple to operate, and since GM parts are shared with other models, repairs aren't as pricey as you'd fear. The Solstice is the entry-level roadster in Pontiac's lineup, offering a pure two-seat convertible experience without a more powerful sibling in 2008. Its 2.4L I4 makes 173 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed manual, giving it enough punch for fun back-road runs while returning 21 mpg combined.
