Miles Overview
The Solstice is Pontiac's two-seat roadster, a rear-drive convertible that was GM's answer to the Mazda MX-5. It's a blast to drive, with sharp steering and a chassis that loves a curvy back road. The cabin is snug, and the trunk is tiny, so pack light and expect to store the removable hardtop in your garage. Owners report some electrical gremlins and cooling fan failures, but many say the car has been dependable for years. The Solstice is the only trim, so you get the full roadster experience without any lesser version to compare it to. Its 2.4L I4 makes 177 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and it's eager to rev on a twisty road.
