Miles Overview
The 2007 Malibu is Chevrolet's mid-size sedan, a straightforward family car aimed at value-conscious buyers. Owners say it accelerates well enough for merging and handles snow and ice with confidence. The cabin is roomy for a family of five, with a simple dashboard and seats that fold down for cargo. A few owners report the power steering column can stick or fail, which was a known issue on some of these cars. The LS is the value pick, giving you the essentials without the V6 or leather you'd get in the LT. Its 2.2L I4 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission, which is adequate for daily driving and returns 25 mpg combined.
