Miles Overview
The 2003 Corvette is Chevrolet's flagship sports car, offered as a coupe, convertible, and the track-focused Z06. It's a genuine land missile with extremely high handling limits, and the steering and brakes feel sharp and responsive. The cabin is snug for long trips, and road noise is noticeable at highway speeds, but the seats are supportive. Owners report few mechanical issues, though window seals can leak in heavy rain and the interior plastics feel dated. The 50th Anniversary Edition adds special badging, unique wheels, and a Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension over the base Corvette. Its 5.7L V8 makes 350 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque, paired with a four-speed automatic that delivers smooth shifts and 19 mpg combined. The Magnetic Selective Ride Control adjusts damping on the fly, so the convertible rides comfortably on rough roads and firms up when you push it.
