Miles Overview
The 1991 Corvette is Chevrolet's flagship sports car, offered as a coupe or convertible with the ZR1 as the range-topping trim. It's a true driver's car with sharp handling and strong acceleration, though the ride is firm and the low ground clearance demands care over bumps. Inside, you get snug bucket seats, a cockpit that feels like a rocketship, and a removable top on coupes, but it's strictly two seats with limited cargo space. Owners report impressive durability, with one keeping their Corvette trouble-free for nearly 25 years, though the plastic interior trim can fade and crack with age. Its 5.7L V8 sends power to the rear-wheel drive through a four-speed automatic, which is smooth but not as quick-shifting as the six-speed manual.
