Miles Overview
The 2010 Corvette is Chevy's flagship sports car, a two-seat coupe or convertible that's been a benchmark for American performance for decades. It's a thrill to drive, with sharp steering, huge brakes, and handling that stays composed even at serious speeds. The ride is firm on rough pavement, and the low ground clearance means you'll want to watch parking lot curbs. Inside, the cabin has some hard plastics and can rattle on uneven roads, but the seats are comfortable and the hatch offers surprising cargo room. The Grand Sport adds the Z06's wide fenders, upgraded brakes, and a dry-sump oil system over the base 1LT, giving it a more aggressive look and better track endurance. Its 6.2L V8 makes 430 horsepower and 424 lb-ft of torque, with the six-speed automatic sending power to the rear wheels; it'll hit 60 mph in the low four-second range. The Grand Sport's suspension is firmer than the base car's, so you'll feel bumps more, but it rewards you with incredible grip and confidence through corners.
