2018 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

The 2018 Corvette is Chevy's flagship sports car, offered as a coupe or convertible with a choice of performance trims from the Stingray to the track-ready Z06. It's a thrill to drive, with massive power and razor-sharp steering that make it feel at home on both back roads and track days. The ride is firm and the cabin is snug, and you'll notice the low stance when getting in and out, but the supportive seats keep you comfortable on longer drives. Cargo space is tight, so plan on traveling light, though the front trunk offers enough room for a weekend bag or two. The base Stingray's standard equipment and lower price set it apart from the Z51 and Grand Sport trims above it. Its 6.2L V8 makes 455 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed manual, and it returns 19 mpg combined. You can option the Stingray with the Z51 Performance Package for upgraded brakes, a dry-sump oil system, and a limited-slip differential.
