Miles Overview
The Sonic is Chevrolet's subcompact, offered as a hatchback or sedan for 2019. It's a nimble little car that's easy to park and fun to toss around town. Inside, the cabin feels roomier than the exterior suggests, with a modern touchscreen and available heated seats. Owners like the comfortable seats and the tech features, though the ride is on the firm side. The LT trim adds a six-speed manual transmission and the larger touchscreen over the base LS, while skipping the Premier's leather seats and premium audio. Its 1.4L I4 makes 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque, routed through the six-speed manual to the front wheels, and returns 32 mpg combined.
