Miles Overview
The 2016 Sonic is Chevrolet's subcompact, offered as a hatchback or sedan. It's nimble and easy to park, with a ride that's firm but composed on the highway. The front seats are roomier than you'd expect, though rear legroom is tight for adults. The touchscreen radio with Bluetooth is a highlight, and remote start is a nice bonus. The LT is the middle trim, so you get more equipment than the base LS without the RS's sportier look and firmer suspension. The LT pairs the 1.4L I4 with a five-speed manual and front-wheel drive, which makes it feel eager around town and easy to keep in its powerband. The LT's hatchback body opens up 47.7 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, which is handy for hauling gear that a sedan can't fit.
