Miles Overview
The Ranger is Ford's compact pickup, a smaller, simpler truck than the F-150 for everyday hauling and parking. It's easy to maneuver in tight spots, and the ride is comfortable for a truck, though the suspension can feel a bit springy over bumps. The regular cab is snug, so you'll want the extended cab if you plan to carry more than one passenger or need lockable storage. Owners report these trucks run well past 100,000 miles with regular maintenance, and parts are easy to find if something does wear out. A manual crank window and vinyl floor covering set the base XL apart from the plusher Sport and STX trims above it.
