Miles Overview
This is Ford's full-size work van, the one you see on job sites and delivery routes everywhere. It drives more like a big SUV than a boxy van, with a surprisingly smooth ride and responsive steering for something this size. The cabin is plain but functional, with plenty of storage up front and a tall seating position that gives you a commanding view of the road. You get a huge, boxy cargo area with a low load floor, and the sliding side door makes loading gear easy even in tight spots. The XL is the entry-level Transit, skipping the Medium and Low Roof trims' extra headroom and higher price tags. Its 3.5L V6 makes 275 horsepower and pairs with a ten-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, so it feels strong pulling away from a stop even with a load.
