Miles Overview
The Transit-150 is Ford's full-size work van, going up against the Ram ProMaster and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter in the commercial segment. The Transit-150 drives with a composed, truck-like feel, and the turbo V6 provides ample muscle for hauling heavy loads. Expect a firm ride when unladen, which is the trade-off for its substantial payload capacity. With low, medium, and high roof options plus multiple cargo lengths, the Transit-150 adapts to nearly any commercial need. Standard Ford Co-Pilot360 safety tech includes automatic emergency braking and lane-keeping assist across the lineup. A vinyl floor, steel wheels, and a no-frills cabin set the base cargo van apart from higher trims with carpet and alloy wheels. The 3.5L V6 makes 275 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, routed through a ten-speed automatic to the rear-wheel drive for confident highway merging even when loaded. With only two seats and a completely open cargo bay, this van prioritizes payload space over passenger comfort.
