Miles Overview
The F-350 is Ford's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling rather than daily commuting. It's a big truck, so you'll need plenty of room to maneuver, but the power and stability when pulling a trailer are what make it worth it. The cab is roomy with comfortable seats, though the tall step-in height can be a challenge for shorter passengers. Fuel costs are high, and owners note the transmission can dry out over time, but repairs are generally minimal. The XL is the base work truck, so you give up the XLT's chrome trim and upgraded seats but save a few thousand dollars. Its 6.0L V8 makes 325 horsepower, and with rear-wheel drive it's best for flat ground and lighter loads rather than off-road work.
