Miles Overview
The F-350 Super Duty is Ford's heavy-duty pickup for 1999, the one you buy when you need serious payload and towing capability. It drives like a big truck, with a commanding view over traffic and a ride that settles down once you've got weight in the bed. The cabin is straightforward and functional, with hard plastics and a simple layout that puts controls where you expect them. You get a proper truck bed and a cab that fits three across, so it's as practical for hauling gear as it is for work. The XL is the base trim, so you get a vinyl floor, manual windows, and a work-truck focus rather than creature comforts. The 7.3L V8 makes 215 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed manual, sending power through four-wheel drive for serious traction off pavement.
