Miles Overview
The F-350 is Ford's heavy-duty pickup, the one you step up to when a half-ton truck isn't enough for the job. It drives like a big truck, with a commanding view and a ride that's steady under load, though you'll feel every bump when it's empty. The cabin is straightforward and built to work, with XL and XLT trims keeping things functional rather than fancy. Expect fuel bills to be substantial, as heavy-duty trucks trade efficiency for the ability to tow and haul serious weight. Stepping up to the XL from the base trim adds four-wheel drive and a stronger engine, making it the go-to for heavy work without the frills of the XLT. This XL pairs the gas 6.2L V8 with a six-speed automatic and four-wheel drive, giving you 383 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque for serious towing. Expect a firm ride when unladen, as the XL's suspension is tuned for payload capacity rather than daily comfort.
