Miles Overview
The 2000 F-250 Super Duty is Ford's heavy-duty pickup, built for serious towing and hauling work rather than daily commuting. The cabin is straightforward and functional, with durable materials and a high seating position that gives you a commanding view of the road. You can get it as a regular cab, SuperCab, or crew cab, and with either a 6.8- or 8-foot bed, so there's a configuration for most jobs. The XL is the work-truck trim, so you get a vinyl floor and manual locks instead of the XLT's carpet and power options, but the mechanicals are the same. With the 7.3L V8 making 215 horsepower and a automatic transmission driving the rear wheels, this F-250 pulls hard from a stop and tows confidently without working the engine hard.
