Miles Overview
The 2015 Transit is Ford's full-size van, the one that replaced the old E-Series for hauling cargo and people. It drives more like a big car than a truck, with a surprisingly smooth ride and steering that's easy to manage in town. You can get it as a cargo van or a passenger wagon, and the high-roof versions let you stand up inside to load gear. The Transit has a solid reputation for holding up well under hard work, though some early models had transmission issues. This medium-roof Transit is the Goldilocks choice between the low-roof van and the high-roof wagon, with a roof high enough to stand under in the cargo area. The optional 3.5L V6 makes 310 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, so merging onto the highway feels effortless even with a full load.
