Miles Overview
The F-150 is Ford's full-size pickup, the truck that anchors the brand and goes up against the Silverado and Ram 1500. It drives with a comfortable, planted feel, and the steering is light enough for easy maneuvering around town. The SuperCrew cab gives you four real doors and a back seat that fits adults, with seats that fold up for secure cargo space. The bed is tall enough that shorter folks will want a step, but the tailgate and bed are genuinely useful for hauling. The XL is the work-ready F-150, skipping the XLT's chrome and carpet for vinyl floors and a rubberized bedliner that you can actually hose out. Its 5.0L V8 makes 360 horsepower and pairs with a six-speed automatic, giving it strong passing power on the highway while returning 18 mpg combined. With four-wheel drive, this XL handles snow and muddy job sites without drama, though the base suspension is tuned more for payload than a cushy ride.
